Portrait of Yaroslav Prytula, a Manchester-based creative director, photographer and videographer working across fashion, product, production support and social media content.

Bio

I’m a photographer, videographer and creative based in Manchester. My work moves between fashion, art and visual storytelling. I focus on concept-driven imagery shaped by tone, material and presence.

I was born in Dnipro, a city in central Ukraine, where I first picked up a camera and began exploring photography and video through local youth culture. One of my early series from that time was later featured in Vogue Italia. After moving to Kyiv, I began working in the high-end fashion industry, leading creative work for brands such as PASKAL and POUSTOVIT.

In late 2021, I survived a serious accident. While I was still recovering, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. I was caught in Bucha during the first days of the war, and remained there for twelve days before managing to escape. These experiences changed my life and deepened my perspective, but my approach to creative work has always been rooted in attention to detail, clarity and emotional intent.

Now based in the UK, I continue to work across fashion, editorial, content creation and personal projects. I’ve collaborated with brands including, LUEDER, Epoch-A, Puma and PASKAL, with features in Vogue Italia, Vogue Ukraine and Novembre Global. I’m available for projects and creative collaborations across the UK and Europe.
