Personal Projects

A selection of self-initiated projects exploring identity, youth, femininity and cultural environments. These works often blend documentary instinct with stylised direction, allowing space for both personal observation and visual experimentation.

This series gathers fifteen photographs taken across different stages of my life. Each image removes context and blurs the subject, leaving behind only a faint trace of presence. It is a reflection on death and survival, memory and disappearance.

Created after a period of extreme physical trauma and in the shadow of war, the work explores how we hold on to our sense of self when everything around us collapses. By erasing detail and clarity, I question what remains of a person in collective memory, in photography, and in thedigital archive.

The project also speaks to themes of identity, belonging and the quiet violence of being forgotten. In a world overloaded with imagery, it asks what we truly see and what we choose to remember.

Each photograph is produced as a unique print on a mixed metal and acrylic canvas.

Shot in the industrial outskirts of central Ukraine, this early series documents the raw energy of youth shaped by economic hardship and post-Soviet influence. The work captures fragments of a hyper-masculine street culture deeply rooted in a pro-Russian atmosphere. One of the images was later published in Vogue Italia.

This series was based on a concept by stylist and art director Yana Yurevych, inspired by female sand and dirt wrestling competitions. The project explores themes of physical power, raw sexuality and confrontation, blending direct flash aesthetics with exaggerated styling to amplify tension and femininity.
